This week was good. We did alot
of inviting people to conference ....it was pretty boss. Although non of our
investigators came I thoroughly enjoyed it. Anyway Elder Southam (SOW-THUM) and
I were riding our bikes to a dinner appointment (down hill) and we were going
really fast ,because we were running late, and his chain fell off and he
wrecked pretty hard. The palm of his hand, his elbow and his pants were all
jacked. So he was laying in the middle of the street and I got off my bike and
I helped him up and he almost fell over again. So I called our dinner
appointment and they gave us a ride haha we do anything for a ride to our
destination :) So he is okay just cuts and bruises. Later that night we went to
the hospital to give a sister in our ward a blessing... I really enjoy doing
that I don't even get nervous any more....(I used to dread giving blessings... I
don't know why) So this week actually was kind of slow.... But I loved it!
How is the dog? Jake how is life? BLONDIE (kelsey) whats up
with college these days.... Courtney ...do you even read my emails. If you do
maketh it known woman!
Matt would you be willing you
taser me the second you see me when I get home? (yes I want the full 5
seconds) Dad you have permission to play my guitars as much as you want this
next week ...but then put them back! haha Mom! you will recieve a letter
form me in a few days... Adam You should send me a sticker that you made at
work to me for Christmas!
Observation of the week: It is
really important to ask everyone you see/talk to "if there is anyone that
they know that is prepared to hear about the gospel" Even when they say
"no" I gets them thinking about their friends and who of them needs
the church in their lives...and the ALL need it but not all of them are READY.
That is another thing I've learned a person has to be ready to live the
gospel... we have recent converts that shouldn't have been baptized because the
were not ready... They also weren't taught everything clearly and its not fair
to me or them when I see them drinking tea or wine because they weren't told it
is wrong and are not willing to change that part of their life. As missionaries
we need to be able to decide when people are ready and teach those people
clearly and by the spirit.
I love you all
-Elder Jones!
